In the fourth round of the Saudi Professional League, ABHA will face Al-Fayha, led by the Brazilian coach Fabio Carille, in what is expected to be a very tough match.
The Saudi Pro League is now among the stronger leagues in world football, especially when you look at the quality of its top clubs.
Based on the outstanding performance of coach Fabio with Saudi teams previously, Al-Fayha Club has signed him to lead the team in the current Saudi Professional League season.
Coming from F.C Goiás, the Saudi club Damac signed coach Fabio Carille for the second half of the 2026 season, in an effort to save the team from relegation to the First Division.
On 17 February 2020, Carille was appointed as the head coach of the Saudi club, Al-Ittihad. He left the club on 23 August of the following year, after losing the 2020 Arab Club Champions Cup Final
Mr. Carille joined the Saudi club Al-Wehda in May 2018. He had to leave the Saudi club in December, after his previous club Corinthians agreed to pay the coach release clause.
Career in BRAZIL
Fabio Carille is a well-known coach in Brazilian football, particularly renowned for his time with Corinthians, whom he led to the Brazilian league title in 2017, in addition to three Paulista championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Carille also achieved a significant milestone with Santos in 2024, guiding the team to the Brazilian second division title and promotion back to the first division.
Carille's style is characterized by tactical organization, defensive discipline, and balance between the lines, making him one of the most experienced and accomplished coaches in Brazilian football. He has also managed other Brazilian clubs, most notably Atlético Paranaense in 2022, Vasco de Gama in 2024, Vitória and Goiás in 2025. He also previously worked with Grêmio Barueri at the beginning of his coaching career.
