In the 7th round of the Saudi Professional League, AL SHABAB drew with Al-Fayha, led by the Brazilian coach Fabio Carille, Al Fayha team is looking forward to achieve positive result in the upcoming games.
The Saudi League is considered one of the strongest leagues in the world, given the presence of international players representing European and Latin American national teams, who have previously won numerous titles.
Coming from Brazilian club Goiás, Damac FC signed coach Carille for the second half of the 2025-2026 season, in an effort to save the team from relegation to the First Division.
On February 17, 2020, Al-Ittihad, one of the most prestigious clubs in Saudi Arabia, signed coach Fabio. He left the club on August 23 of the following year, after winning the 2020 Arab Club Champions Cup.
Mr. Fabio Carille joined Al-Wahda FC in May 2018. He was forced to leave the Saudi club in December after his former club, Corinthians, agreed to pay the coach's release clause.
Career in BRAZIL
Fabio Carille is a well-known coach in Brazilian football, particularly renowned for his work with Corinthians, whom he led to the Brazilian league title in 2017, in addition to three Paulista championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Carille also achieved a significant milestone with Santos in 2024, guiding the team to the Brazilian second division title and promotion back to the first division.
Carille is known for his tactical organization, defensive discipline, and balanced approach between the lines, making him one of the most experienced and accomplished coaches in Brazilian football. He has also managed other Brazilian clubs, most notably Atlético Paranaense in 2022. In 2024, he took charge of Vasco da Gama, followed by Vitória and Goiás in 2025. He also previously worked with Grêmio Barueri at the beginning of his coaching career.
